The [Luckaton Token](/tokenomics.md) ($LUKT) serves as the core currency of the Luckaton Arena, creating an ecosystem where players, stakeholders, and enthusiasts can interact and participate. The $LUKT is designed to be used in various ways within the Luckaton environment:

* RPS Battles: Characters representing real players engage in Rock Paper Scissors (RPS) battles as part of the [Luckaton Framework](/luckaton-and-science/luckaton-framework.md) with outcomes determined according to the RPS rules.
* Wagering: $LUKT holders can [wager](/technicals/betting.md) their tokens on the outcomes of the arena battles. Victorious players have the opportunity to win valuable prizes, including additional $LUKT tokens.
